General Description; Eligibility:  The 2013 Kasey Kahne Foundation “Fly Like Kahne” Raffle to benefit Kasey Kahne Foundation is offered only in the United States and is open only to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The raffle begins on March 1, 2013 and ends on June 15, 2013 (the “Raffle Period”). The raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void in Alabama, Kansas, Hawaii, South Carolina, Utah and wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Employees, as well as their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouse) and others living in their same household, whether related or not, of the Kasey Kahne Foundation or any of its representatives, agents, or affiliated entities (together, the “Released Parties”), are not eligible to enter.  By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of Kasey Kahne Foundation, which are final and binding in all matters related to the raffle, the selection of the winner, and the awarding of any prize.  Winning a prize is contingent on fulfilling the requirements set forth herein.

How to enter: To enter the raffle, please register online at www.kaseykahnefoundation.com by following the instructions set forth therein. Online entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on June 15, 2013. In addition, you can enter by purchasing a raffle ticket and providing the information requested in person at the Kasey Kahne store in Mooresville, NC (265 Cayuga Dr., Mooresville, NC 28117) and at the Kasey Kahne store in Enumclaw, WA (1325 Cole Street, Enumclaw, WA 98022) during normal business hours during the Raffle Period.  In person entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on June 15, 2013. Winner will be drawn by random drawing conducted by Kasey Kahne Foundation on or about June 30, 2013. All entries become the sole property of Kasey Kahne Foundation and will not be returned. The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, late, damaged, destroyed, or delayed entries or postage due mail.

Prizes/Odds of Winning: One (1) Grand Prize: A three night VIP trip for winner and a guest to the winner’s choice of one of the following big stock car races:  (1) Dover, DE (scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 29, 2013, and Grand Prize will include a day trip on Kasey Kahne’s personal plane to Baltimore, MD on the Saturday of the race weekend), (2) Ft. Worth, TX (scheduled to take place on November 3, 2013, and Grand Prize will include a day trip on Kasey Kahne’s personal plane to Austin, TX on the Saturday of the race weekend), or (3) Phoenix, AZ (scheduled to take place on Sunday November 10, 2013, and Grand Prize will include a day trip on Kasey Kahne’s personal plane to Las Vegas, NV on the Saturday of the race weekend) (the stock car race selected by the winner is the  “Race”).  The Grand Prize includes airfare from an airport near winner’s home residence (to be determined in the sole discretion of Kasey Kahne Foundation) to an airport near the Race on the Friday prior to the Race; airfare on Kasey Kahne’s personal plane to the applicable day trip destination on the Saturday of the Race weekend; three nights’ standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations at a hotel in the Race area; two grandstand tickets to the Race; two pit/garage “cold” passes, a VIP tour of the pit and garage and a meet and greet with Kasey Kahne at the Race; all ground transportation from the airport, hotel and Race; airfare from the Race to an airport near the winner’s home (to be determined in the sole discretion of the Kasey Kahne Foundation) on the Monday following the Race; and $1,000 spending money in the form of a Visa gift card.   Approximate retail value $8,500.  All unspecified expenses are winner’s sole responsibility, including but not limited to meals, hotel incidentals, gratuities, taxes, transportation (other than as expressly stated above), parking, and any other charges not included in the Grand Prize. Accommodations cannot be changed by the winner.  Guest of the winner must be 18 years of age or older at the time of travel.  Grand Prize winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, if any, and any other incidental expense incurred in connection with the raffle or the prize.  No prize substitution or cash equivalent of prize except at the sole discretion of Kasey Kahne Foundation. No prize transfer. All prize details are at Kasey Kahne Foundation’s sole discretion, including the date and location of the meet and greet with Kasey Kahne and the VIP tour of the pit and garage.  The Kasey Kahne Foundation and the winner may agree on an alternate day-trip location if the alternate day-trip is to an equidistant location to that of the awarded day-trip, provided, however that the Kasey Kahne Foundation shall have the final decision with respect to any alternate day-trip and shall not be required to consent to any proposed alternate day-trip. If any portion of the Grand Prize is cancelled or postponed, Kasey Kahne Foundation will award remaining Grand Prize components and make no cash payment in lieu of the other component(s).  If the Race or the meet and greet with Kasey Kahne portions of the Grand Prize are cancelled or postponed, Kasey Kahne Foundation is only responsible for awarding the remainder of the Grand Prize.  If Kasey Kahne is not available for any reason whatsoever, then Kasey Kahne Foundation will have no further obligation to the Grand Prize winner and/or guest.  If weather affects the ability for the Grant Prize winner and guest to redeem any portion of the Grand Prize during the scheduled date and time, then Kasey Kahne Foundation shall have no further obligations to the Grand Prize winner and guest other than to supply the remaining elements of the Grand Prize minus the unavailable portion of the Grand Prize.  A maximum of 3,555 tickets will be sold. Odds of winning are determined by the total number of entries received, with the maximum odds of 1:3,555. Each day entries received by mail and the Internet will be counted to determine if the total sold to date exceeds 3,555. All entries received the day on which 3,555 entries are received will be entered into a preliminary lottery. The first entries drawn from that group up to a total of 3,555 will be included in the final raffle. All other entries received that day (and thereafter) will be returned or refunded.

General Conditions: By entering, entrants accept and agree to the Official Rules and the decisions of Kasey Kahne Foundation, which are final and binding in all respects. Winner will be notified by telephone and by mail from Kasey Kahne Foundation and must respond to claim prize within 48 hours of telephone notification or a new winner may, but is not required to, be selected by Kasey Kahne Foundation.  Winner will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and a publicity release, where legal, within 7 days of prize notification. In the event of non-compliance with requirements, or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may, but is not required to, be selected. By accepting the prize, except where prohibited by law, winner agrees to the use of his or her name and/or photograph for advertising/publicity purposes without further compensation or notice. Raffle tickets are not tax-deductible contributions to the Kasey Kahne Foundation. Kasey Kahne Foundation reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the raffle; to be in violation of the Official Rules, or to be acting in a disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any activities intended to disrupt or interfere with the proper play of the raffle or defraud Kasey Kahne Foundation in any way will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The raffle is subject to all applicable laws of the United States.

Publicity and Privacy:  By entering the raffle, entrants consent to the use of their name, likeness and image for purposes of advertising, marketing and promoting Kasey Kahne Foundation without compensation or further consent, except where prohibited by law.  Information collected online from entrants is subject to the privacy policy of Kasey Kahne Foundation, located at www.kaseykahnefoundation.org/privacy-policy/

Limitations of Liability: By participating, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Kasey Kahne Foundation, the Released Parties and their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, and the directors, officers, agents and employees of any such entity from any and all liability arising from participating in the raffle and/or acceptance, possession or use/misuse of prize, regardless of whether such claims are founded in whole or part upon alleged negligence, gross negligence or willful misconduct of any of such parties. Kasey Kahne Foundation is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, including, without limitation, that which is caused by web site users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the raffle or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries in the raffle.  Kasey Kahne Foundation assumes no responsibilities for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, or defection, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of web site or entries in processing the raffle entries. Kasey Kahne Foundation is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or entrants on accounts of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site associated with the raffle. Kasey Kahne Foundation is not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any entrants. If, for any reason, the raffle is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Kasey Kahne Foundation which, in Kasey Kahne Foundation’s sole discretion could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the raffle, Kasey Kahne Foundation may, in its sole discretion, cancel the raffle and return/refund all entries or select the winner in a random drawing comprised of all eligible entries received prior to (and/or after, if appropriate) the action taken by Kasey Kahne Foundation. Kasey Kahne Foundation reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle. 2013 Five Kahne 5K – October 13

The 4th annual Kasey Kahne Foundation “Five Kahne” 5K presented by Great Clips will be Sunday October 13, 2013 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, N.C. Join Kasey Kahne and other industry celebrities on a beautiful city route planned for a shotgun start at 10am. We are excited to announce that this year’s Five Kahne will also be the last race in the Run For Your Life Grand Prix Series- for more information on the series go to runforyoulife.com. The race fest on the NASCAR Hall of Fame Plaza will be even bigger this year for runners, families, spectators and fans to enjoy. Top three finishers in each age group will be awarded.

This year’s beneficiaries include Friends of the NASCAR Hall of Fame which provides grants for field trips where local children can learn about science, technology, engineering and math(STEM) as it applies to the sport of racing. The Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte also continues to be a beneficiary of the Five Kahne.
